Mech Armours are categorically referred to the huge spaceships that you battle through Thunder Strike. As you navigate your way through the game's universe, you will encounter them in all forms of play and in various degrees of power.

There are typically two versions of Mech Armours, of which we can call them the "Boss" and "Mini-boss" classes, as there is no in-universe definition for these ship names.

Mini-boss class ships[]

These ships are actually modified versions of standard enemy fighters. They have additional features on the ship design as well as vastly different forms of weaponry equipped on them. Some of these ships carry lethal weaponry; it is wise not to underestimate them.

Boss-class ships[]

On the other hand are unique ships which boast a larger hull, typically filling one-third of the game's screen, having varying and massive firepower in comparison. They sport 2 health bars (blue over red), which also indicates the two battle phases they go through.

Phase 1 - The Boss ship's default configuration upon entry.

Phase 2 - Once the first half of the HP bar depletes (blue-colored), the boss ship "transforms", typically expanding its hull to reveal new parts and weapons, or simply transforming its original form into another. All enemy gunfire on the field is erased, and players are impervious to damage until the Boss's transformation sequence ends.
